The Brave One - **1/2. Jodie Foster as Charles Bronson but looking like River Phoenix. Neil Jordan mails it in as director. Contrived Hollywood romance between Foster & Terrance Howard.

The Lookout - ***1/2. Best movie seen in a while. The characters are real humans in this one. Must see.

Grass - **1/2. Ron Mann documentary on the 'war on pot'. Thought it would be more insightful than it was. Worth seeing for sure, maybe I shoulda been stoned. 

Bongwater - *1/2. No idea why this got made or what it was trying to be. Unfunny comedy or nonengaging drama? Maybe I shoulda been stoned for this one too.
